100% Enhanced Capital Allowance

From August 2002 some Inverter Driven and Heat pump split systems now qualify for 100% Tax relief via Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA’s) The new list is now online at www.eca.gov.uk

The Carbon trust is now in charge of the management of the Energy Technology list and they have just released the list of Heat pump systems, which meet the rigorous efficiency criteria.

 Previously only Variable speed drives (inverter drives within VRF systems) were on the list which meant that only £900 or £1200 was available to claim.

As from Dec 2002, the entire cost of the heat pump including installation and professional design services are included.
